Privacy Policy

Placeholder copy: this page explains what information this website collects, how it's used, and what happens to it. Last updated: TBD

This page is a placeholder

The wording below is a generic starting point only. It has not been reviewed by Kath or a legal professional, and it must be checked against whichever form-to-email service and hosting provider are actually used before this site goes live. See README.md for the specific items to confirm.

Information we collect

This website does not collect information automatically. The only information collected is what you choose to enter into the enquiry form on the Contact & Booking page:

  • Your name
  • What service you're enquiring about
  • Your preferred contact method (email or phone number)
  • A short message

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technology. Placeholder note: if that changes in future (for example, adding analytics), this policy will be updated to say so.

How we use your information

Information submitted through the enquiry form is used for one purpose only: to arrange a first conversation with Kath. It is not used for marketing, is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes, and is not combined with information from any other source.

Where your information goes

This site has no database. When you submit the enquiry form, its contents are relayed by email directly to Kath's inbox and are not stored anywhere on this website or by us afterwards.

Placeholder: the form currently uses a third-party form-to-email service to perform that relay (the specific provider is still to be confirmed; see contact.html and README.md). That provider briefly handles your submission in order to deliver the email, and its own privacy policy will apply to that step. Once a provider is chosen, its name and a link to its privacy policy will be added here.

Once your enquiry reaches Kath's inbox, it's retained according to her own professional record-keeping practices, which is placeholder information to be confirmed and added here.

Your rights

You can ask what information was received from your enquiry, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time by contacting Kath directly using the details on the Contact & Booking page. Placeholder: this section should be reviewed against whichever data protection law applies to Kath's practice (for example, the Privacy Act 1988 in Australia or UK/EU GDPR) once that's confirmed.

Changes to this policy

Placeholder: if this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date at the top of the page.

Questions about this policy

Placeholder: if you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, contact Kath using the details on the Contact & Booking page.
